MEGlobal announced its September 2014 Asian Contract Price (ACP) for monoethylene glycol (MEG) of US$1180/MT CFR Asian main ports for arrival September 2014. In making this announcement, MEGlobal offered the following observations on the current market situation. The September 2014 ACP reflects high planned turnarounds in the near future, the unplanned turnarounds that have occurred recently and the net short term supply/demand consequences in the Asian market.
